You can get legendary pets in Adopt Me by hatching eggs, buying Robux pets, joining events or trading. Trading is the only way to get limited legendaries like the Shadow Dragon.

Every egg has a small legendary chance. The current egg is the cheapest way to try your luck.

Legendaries from current eggs keep low values because many players hatch them.

Robux pets

Robux shop pets like the Giraffe, Owl and Parrot were sold for a limited time. They now trade at high values.

Events

Seasonal events release limited legendaries. Pets from old Halloween and Christmas events are the most valuable in the game.
