How Adopt Me Values Work

Adopt Me values are community estimates of what a pet is worth in trades. Rarity, how limited the pet is, and how many players want it set the value. Neon and Mega Neon versions multiply the base value.
Check current numbers for any pet on the Adopt Me pet values list.
Rarity and availability
Limited pets came from eggs or events that are gone. Fewer copies exist, so their value climbs over time.
Obtainable pets still hatch from current eggs, so new copies keep entering the game and hold value down.
Demand moves prices
Demand is how many players want a pet right now. Two pets with the same value trade differently if one is in higher demand.
Check the demand score on each pet page before you accept a deal.
Neon and Mega Neon multipliers
A Neon pet needs four full-grown regular pets, so it is worth about four times the regular value.
A Mega Neon needs four Neons, so it is worth roughly sixteen times the regular value.
Fly and Ride potions
Fly and Ride potions add value to any pet. A Fly Ride pet usually trades for about a third more than a plain one.
Potions matter most on high-demand legendaries, where buyers expect them.
Why values change
New releases pull demand away from older pets for a few weeks.
Event endings turn obtainable pets into limited pets, and their values often jump after the event closes.

Who decides Adopt Me values?
No one person. Values come from what traders accept in real trades, and value lists track those trades.
Why is my pet worth less than the list says?
Low demand. A pet can have a high listed value but still need an add if few players want it.
Do Adopt Me values go up over time?
Limited pets usually rise slowly because supply only shrinks. Obtainable pets tend to stay flat.
